There are few mini buses running in Kilakarai route to transport the poeple to village areas. There are some villages near kilakarai. they are; Mayakulam, chinna mayakulam, periya mayakulam, Mangala eeswari nagar, pullanthai etc. There are no public transportation available for these areas.
